What guides my work above all is a sense of service and care. My past work and experiences since have given me a broad range of challenges and I consider it a privilege to help people through issues both straightforward and complex. SELF-DEVELOPMENT COACHING
As a strengths based self-development coach, I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenging life transitions, improve their relationships, and overcome addictions. My approach is evidence-informed and progressive, emphasizing personal growth and resilience.
NON MONOGAMY AFFIRMING
Navigating relationship styles that are outside of the expected societal script comes with a unique set of challenges and issues. I am proud to offer a space for those practicing consensual non-monogamy (CNM), polyamory, and relationship anarchism to be heard and work towards healing, education, and comfort within their relationships. I am open to both individuals and their partner’s participation in this process, when appropriate.
LIFE TRANSITIONS
Life transitions can be difficult to navigate alone. Whether you're going through a major change like a job loss or divorce, or simply feeling stuck in your current situation, I can help you find direction and purpose.
LGBTQIA+ AFFIRMING
Understanding and affirming those with complex intersections of identities and experiences of the world is a foundational aspect of the work I do. I take pride in providing a space for those who have struggled to be heard in traditional talk therapy settings.
DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY
Too often the focus of treating depression and anxiety is squarely on the individual without serious regard to the systems in one’s life that keep suffering maintained. My focus in helping you discover peace is rooted in years of clinical experience and evidence as well as empathy and understanding that this world can be hard to live in. RESILIENCE BUILDING
Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity, and it's a key factor in achieving success and fulfillment in life. I work with individuals to identify their strengths, develop coping strategies, and build resilience in the face of challenges.
ADDICTION AND SUBSTANCE USE
If you have been grappling with repetitive behaviors that don’t serve you or align with your values, you aren’t alone. I offer a stigma-free environment where you can discuss the ways addictive substances or behaviors have impacted your life, and work to make meaningful change. I have training in addiction neuroscience, worked in various addiction treatment programs, and have taught courses to other health professionals about evidence-based practices in addiction. There are many paths to recovery, and I’d be honored to help you along yours.
MENS ISSUES
If you’ve ever felt like traditional talk therapy “wasn’t for you”, you aren’t alone. Years of experience working in men’s specific health programs have shown me that sometimes a different kind of approach is needed to address the challenges that men are trying to resolve today. I offer a focused lens and alternative approach to questions concerning masculinity, intimacy, loneliness, and anger. If this sounds like you, I would love to connect and get to work.
STRESS MANAGEMENT
Stress is a natural part of life, but it can also be overwhelming and debilitating. I work with individuals to develop practical tools for managing stress, building resilience, and improving overall wellbeing.
LIFE COACHING
Life coaching is a holistic approach to personal development, focusing on the present and future rather than the past. I help individuals to clarify their goals, develop a plan for achieving them, maintain motivation, and stay accountable along the way.
